The abuse of drugs and alcohol can greatly damage the body, especially in underage persons. Because of these damages, abuse of drugs and alcohol can affect a person’s ability to participate in sports and fitness-related activities. Saying "no" to these illegal activities (non-prescription drugs and alcohol if the person is underage) allows a person to avoid these negative effects.
