When I started to drink with my friends in high school, I never thought about the risks I was taking and the harm I was doing to my body. I never thought about the idea of liver failure or even alcohol poisoning, when consuming alcohol. When a teenager is drinking, he/she is just focused on having fun with his/her friends and consuming more alcohol then they can handle. I do not drink to get out of control, I sometimes enjoy drinking to have a good time with my friends, while we are with just each other or at some sort of event. I never had any sort of experience where I am in the hospital due to an alcohol related event. I have consumed more alcohol then I can handle before, but I strongly believe that it is a part of growing up. You are told to experience whatever you can, and as many things as you can. I understand that idea because when you are drinking, majority of the time you are going to be in a group setting which means there is going to be other negative influences such as drugs. The more you decide to take part in this action the more you are going to surround yourself with certain people that bring nothing but negative influences. Bringing the idea back of experiencing new things comes along with this topic, because overtime as I got used to drinking being a regular thing on the weekends, there would be more things to try. I personally have not taken part in drug use, but I have friends and acutance's that have made drugs a regular part of their life or made it a weekly thing.
