Underage drinking laws can also be called Minor in possession laws. The legal limit to drink alcohol in Pennsylvania is 21. Consumption of alcohol to anyone under this age limit is drinking illegally with no exceptions. Punishment can take a number of forms which include the following. Revocation of the driver’s license for 30 days give or take, Payments of fines, enrollment in alcohol education programs, and community service. Some factors can influence a change in the punishment which include, the age of the offender, if the minor was legally intoxicated, and if the offender has had a past history of minor-in-possession or other illegal behavior.
