Adidas famous for the three strips on their shoes also invented screw in studs on football boots, which would carry the German football team to victory in the 1954 World Cup and catapult them to a household name across the world. In 1967, Adidas turns to apparel and sparks a new trend. A vast amount of athletes everywhere trusted and wore Adidas shoes and clothes. In 1986, Adidas would make its mark not only in sports, but a up and coming industry. Hip Hop. Artist such as Run DMC, L.L. Cool and Rob Base would aide this brand to household names. Although the organization was doing really well in 1992, the organization was almost bankrupt due to the owner passing away and a new strategic plan. In 1995, the new CEO new he had an outstanding brand and he changed the strategic plan from sales to marketing and yes the organization had some hard times but has since recovered. They have had new innovated product lines and is now the Adidas Group which has Reebok, TaylorMade and CCM in their organization strategic plan.

It is hard to say which is better they are all working for their individual organization but Nike is still number one and according to Schlossberg (2015) Under Armour is number two and Adidas is in third. Of course they all want to be number one but Nike has those big names that I think pushes them ahead.
The information on financial data indicates that of the three I think Under Armour is doing the best because it has past Adidas to make them number two and according to Negrete (2016) Nike went up 18.6%, Under Armour went up 98.9% and Adidas went down 7.7% compared to the same time the previous (2014).
Under Armour can learn from its competitors that legacy of a brand goes a long way. Customers may choose a particular brand because of a Name. They can also learn that a once productive organization can fall when leadership or strategic plans change and that is the time to realign and refocus to get back on
