As a military member, the Army Combat Uniform has been a staple of my daily clothing for over a decade, whether in rain, snow, sleet and sun the uniform is worn by nearly 400,000 soldiers. As a result soldiers will often purchase portions of the uniform that will be more durable or that perform better in different situations. Under Armor became a popular brand name in the military clothing stores, especially for those of us who spent any time in the desert during the Global War on Terrorism. Specifically the hot weather undergarments that were designed from a synthetic fabric called HeatGear. This gear was initially designed for athletes to be light, dry, and cool in hot conditions.
