Many children under the age of fourteen are working around the world just for income. Families are not making enough so their kids are having to work. They need just a little amount of money to survive. People should not buy products that are made and manufactured by children from second or third world countries.
The factories air isn’t healthy for the workers especially the children. They have chemicals, and toxic materials making the shoes that are not good for the lungs are not meant to be breathed in. “Footwear factories have heavier machinery and use dangerous raw material, including solvents that have bad air and cause pollution” (page 1, paragraph 5). Children shouldn’t inhale these toxins especially since their lungs have not fully developed yet. This could kill them or make them stop breathing for a while, having an asthma attack.

If saga sports is making millions imagine what Nike is making. “Saga sports alone is accounted for thirty three million of the industry’s $210 million total” (page 5, paragraph 28). They have over 45,000 workers but the only get paid less than one hundred dollars a month. In Pakistan they make $2,800 a month but that still is not enough. Think of you working at a multi-million business but only get paid one hundred dollars.
If those companies and factories move people will not have any jobs and definetly will not have anywhere to live without money. “70% of the economy in those countries rely on the companies that do not pay a lot” (page 5, paragraph 26). Although they do not pay enough it is helping them survive. It is better than having nothing.
Products made and manufactured by children should not be bought. It is a horrible thing. Child labor is not the way of life. Next time buying something think if you would want your child being the human being that made that
