One of the ways I express my creative side is that I use unconventional ways to solve problems when conventional ways don't work. I would find a way to get the right answer by using unconventional methods because those methods seem to be more intuitive to me. For instance, during my sophomore year, I came up with a creative way to rearrange the variables to solve the logarithmic equations when the conventional way that was illustrated in the textbook and in class did not work for me. In addition, students are told to make connections between concepts and ideas in Science classes which can possibly complicate the learning process for me.
