It is a huge scientific breakthrough and always will be and it’s space travel, it has gone a long way and now we are almost to the point to where people can live in space. I have cited evidence in paragraph 14, lines 1 and the story says, “ We Americans didn’t build a space station; instead we went to the Moon.” I had also found evidence in paragraph 15, lines 2 through 4 and it states, “Knowing they could not land on the Moon after the explosion in their oxygen tank, and knowing they did not have enough fuel to stop, slow down, and head back, they executed a single figure-eight ballistic trajectory around the Moon, swinging them back toward Earth.” It is very breathtaking action or moment in history that had occured due to the fact that we had the ability to fly, I also found in the story that it talks about the Wright brothers who invented the flying machine themselves. I do have to say “Uncle Marcos” could be another good choice for your thesis statement, it adds a little bit of fantasy of how flying was invented or thought of, I could see someone watching like the Wright brothers seeing this man on a contraption in the air and thought about making one. Although “Uncle Marcos” is another good point of view it is not as realistic as it seems or says, this is why I choose “To Fly” as a better example for why humans have such a desire to fly. In conclusion I would support “To Fly” as the best choice and nothing else some others might say the same or different but I supported my reasons with textual
