In the final game to wrap up the critically acclaimed trilogy, you return to play a treasure hunter Nathan Drake who is no stranger to danger. For players who are not familiar with the backstory of the Uncharted series, you are given flashback levels to explore who Nathan really is. Players who are very familiar with the story and characters will not be disappointed to meet Nathan’s older brother, Sam. Together, the two will bond with each other through journeys across the world.

I recommend not playing multiplayer until you have finished the campaign, since the controls can be hard to grasp for players new to the series. I had a blast rolling, shooting, and swinging through the gorgeous maps that Naughty Dog has brought us. The game truly eliminates a “one man army” and promotes teamwork. I found myself moving with my teammates to win matches instead of going lone wolf.
The most interesting aspect of the multiplayer is that you can take is easy, while also playing serious. The landscapes around you give a feel that you aren’t forced to avoid game placed barriers, but that you are navigating against natural terrain that has always been placed there. This game plays a worthy tribute to Nathan Drake, wrapping up the trilogy in a nice neat bow. Players who are new to the franchise will find that they are just as satisfied as experienced veterans. Nathan Drake has never looked better before and you get to see him as a child, young man, and his current age. Nathan’s eyes look less colorful before and wrinkles are now in place of where his once smooth skin was.
