Recklessness and stubbornness can lead up to a dangerous and rash situation as, recklessness can entitle someone to act carelessly, and with stubbornness combined, an even bigger worry who can not easily be convinced of something. One trait that could perfectly describe Louie is being a very stubborn, reckless person. As a disobedient youth, Louie would very often get himself into troubles, even more often into one-sided fights with boys around his age, with him falling into the pavement every so often, ”He could have ended the beatings by running away or succumbing to tears, but he refused to do either” (pg.9). As a youth, Louie could only be described as a reckless and a completely stubborn child, whose only goals in life were to cause mischief for those lucky enough to be in his life. In addition, Louie is an extremely determined person who with persistence achieved to survive in many awful situations like plane crashes and prisoner camps and when surviving seemed sure well near impossible for him and his crew. Above all, Louie Zamperini is a truthful person who proves honestly is no problem to him.
