Un-Programmed Mentoring

That the mentoring effort be a “programmed model,” which is both structured but flexible enough to accommodate and encourage continued individual participation. There will be group events throughout the year and individual minimum expectations and requirements. There will be an educational component that will be provided by the Team Building and Individual Skills Training Initiative. It was agreed that any “un-programmed” mentoring will not be hindered by this program.
The selection process will use a randomizer to make the final selection of paired mentees with mentors. The mentee will select several volunteer mentors who they would like to be mentored by. A computer program will then randomly select a mentor from the mentee’s selection.
