Medical sonographer provides patient services in multiplicity of medical surroundings. Performing procedures on ultrasound machines to view and interpret images with sound waves. Ultrasound can be used for medical imaging, detection, measurement and cleaning (“10 Interesting fact” 2014). Obstetrics (OB)/Gynecology ultrasound was the reason why I was interested in sonography. Being able to tell a mother the gender of their unborn baby on the day of their scan can be an excitement. With little experience about medical sonography, it turns out that ultrasound is not just about the reproductive system of a pregnant woman.
