Uk Antarctica Trust Core Values

Improved Essays
I will like to highlight some of my skills by using the UK Antarctica Heritage Trust Core Values as my guidance. I believe it fits perfectly into my own values as well as qualifications needed to become a Port Lockroy Assistant.
Teamwork has been an essential method I had learned to endure within every aspect of life, from work experiences as well as personal matters. An example was my liaison involvement, where I collaborated successfully among different entities. Also, the opening of a Call Center in a foreign country, this project took a lot of teamwork effort and commitment.
Quality is an attribute we must applied on every task. It’s a reflection of oneself. I try my best to deliver the best quality possible in every job, not just because is required, but because it gives me a sense of pride. An example was the Kaizen and CIP project at my last job.

I had many circumstances in life, professional and personal, were I was the author of important decision making situations, which to the best of my knowledge I achieved responsibly. One professional example from last position I worked is that our office set up was in a Warehouse environment; even though we were considered office staff we still had to follow safety policy and procedures as we were in the operational floor. Safety shoes, glasses and walk paths had to be implement always. Forklift certification was acquired as an awareness requirement and in case of an emergency need. The outcome was positive, our warehouse held an index of 0% employee injury; highest rank award in safety within other company warehouses.
Inspiring, I will close by saying: Animals can teach us and inspires us in many ways such as their Loyalty, Simplicity, Compassion, Determination, Kindness, Hard work, and Love. Something I look forward to experience by living so close the Gentoo

In our everyday life, we are exposed to quality in a variety of forms, especially with product advertising. I believe that product quality is what sets apart a company. Reflection Paper II Throughout my college experience here in the Carroll School of Management, group work and the ability to work well with others has been emphasized greatly. This makes sense, because in a professional environment, the ability to communicate, listen and contribute within a group leads to success and the achievement of goals. Apparently, the interactive nature of a knowledgebased society and a knowledge-based economy mandates the ability to collaborate. “Those who have successfully created cultures of innovation and creativity suggest that one key is to… embrace participation, collaboration, networking…” Collaboration and teamwork is such a key element to many aspects of life - it appears everywhere, and this skill comes in handy later in life in many situations, maybe even tomorrow. It took me a slight bit of willingness to give collaboration and teamwork a shot and understand what is behind it, it’s not just wanted or unwanted socialization, like I thought before, it might be the key to building a business empire, for all I can know. In the modern age, when a lot of the things are already invented, it’s hard to come up with something new on your own. It’s the innovation that rarely takes place in just one head.…
