After proper screening and observation of the children, those who were able to showcase and depict proper academic talent were sent to the best schools. Others were given required vocational training and were given certain technical skills. The basic aim for both these programs was same. It was to ensure that Udayan Care played their part in focusing on helping the children as much as they could, and help them to lead socially enriched lives. Understandably so, these kids had tarnished memories from their childhood. Therefore, it was quite important for them to realize their true worth, and get rid of the negative emotions they had from their childhood. Hence, Udayan Care helped to give these children a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment, so that they are able to be at par with other …show more content…
Retaining higher officials was an increasing challenge for Udayan Care. Given the fact that the higher level staff was really crucial from the strategic point of view, it can be seen that retaining them was a challenge that Dr. Modi was facing, essentially because of the fact that the salaries in this sector had increased exponentially. Therefore, the higher level staff was increasingly motivated to switch towards higher paying jobs, regardless of anything else, so to speak. Therefore, the turnover rate was shockingly high, which was again, a considerably significant and huge dip in the overall productivity, and the performance of the foster care, so to speak. This hampered the organizational efficiency, as newer staff was required to be hired on a continual basis, and this resulted in time loss, and additional costs of recruitment. (DCS, 2018) The newer professionals that were to be hired had to be conveyed of the vision and mission of the overall system, and once that was conveyed, they mostly left for other higher paid
