Collection of effective data is integral to create important change. There will either be behavioral or environmental factors that must change in order to address the issues. Behavioral factors include patterns of behaviors that makeup lifestyle choices. The Environmental factors either include a physical, social, political, and economical issue.
The Educational and Ecological Assessment is in the third phase. The purpose of this phase is to determine what to do in order to change the behavior or environment. There are specific factors to recognize before developing the program. These include Predisposed factors like values or perception already ingrained into your audience; reinforcing factors, which are the incentive which reinforce the change the program is hoping for; and enabling factors, that are the skills and resources given to the community and participant in order to be successful in there pursuit of the
