U7y: God's Interaction With The Physical World

Decent Essays
God interacts with humanity in multiple ways. One way is through nature. The beauty of the world is a sign of God’s presence. God created everything and everyone on this Earth out of love and beauty. Another way God interacts with the physical world is through people. Their purpose on Earth and actions are signs of God revealing himself. U7yI experienced God’s interaction multiple times. One time I felt God through the wind, on a hot summer day. I was all alone, outside, and hid presence welcomed me through the wind. I think being alone and having time to yourself enables you to focus on God. This leads to finding him more clearly. Another time he interacted with me is through events that happened in my life. From miracles to disasters God

We must serve our awesome God. When God came to earth as a man, Jesus, he didn’t just enjoy it, he worked, he served others. There are so many examples in the Bible of serving others. 1 Peter 4:10, Matthew 20:28, Proverbs 11:25, 1 Corinthians 9:19. My favorite two verses that explain servantship so well are Acts 20:35, “....…

The Teleological Argument for the Existence of God, also known as “Arguments from Design”, states that a designer must exist because the universe and living things exhibit marks of design in their order, consistency, unity, and pattern, and that designer is God. One of the analogies used for this argument is William Paley’s Watch Maker Argument. He gives the scenario: if you were to find a watch in an open field you would automatically assume that it was designed and did not just randomly form out of thin air. Based off this argument, if you agree that the universe and its inhabitants are designed in some way for a purpose, then there must be a designer responsible, which would be God. Believers in the Teleological Argument also argue that scientists and evolutionists are unable to explain how complex organisms such as the eye originated.…

The book God 's Big Picture is a 167-page book written by Vaughan Roberts and published by IVP Books. The sub title to this book is “Tracing the story line of the Bible”. I believe Roberts does a fair job at accomplishing this task. The key to tracing the story line of the bible is to look at it outside the box and in big picture view hence the title.…

Destroyers: Exploiting God’s Good Earth: A Global Health Perspective David McKay is the author of Destroyers: Exploiting God 's Good Earth, it was written in 2008 and is the last book in the End of Time Trilogy. Destroyers is a futuristic novel about how the burden of disease cripples a village in Kenya and the impact foreign investors have on the socioeconomic values of that village. The title chosen by McKay sets the tone for the book: in the end money and profit has the power to destroy all that we know. McKay was able to challenge many of my views by using subjugated knowledge that compelled me to learn more about the global health issues our western world is typically not aware of. In turn it encouraged me to understand the responsibilities…

In Teleological or design argument for the existence of God, The strongest argument presented by William Paley’s in his work, Natural Theology where he uses an analogy and the argument that there is absolute evidence of design in the universe around us, where everything has been well designed to fulfill the functions and its purpose. He asserts that there must be a divine intelligence, a supreme designer for a purpose to occur (168). Hume and Darwin presented the arguments, but all seemed to support the existence of God in some way if not the other. also argued that we can only attribute to a cause whatever qualities are needed to produce the effect. Hume mentions that the design argument, if it works only proves the existence of a design producing…

One reason for the difference between the Christian view on piracy and that of the Greeks lies with the way deities interact in with humans in both religions and the doctrine that both religions enforce. In Christianity, God does not interact with humans directly like the Gods in Greek mythology do, therefore the outlook on piracy changes. Also, the way God treats his believers in the Christian tradition is much different than the way the Greek Gods treated humans. Lastly, the final pursuit of the believers of these religions are very different, therefore leading to different views on piracy.…

THE HIDDENNESS OF GOD Divine hiddenness, in the modern sense, does not refer to disquiet, disappointment and even despair that believers sometimes feel when God seems silent during suffering or trying seasons of life, rather it refers to a philosophical argument that asserts the unbelief of people who are both capable of believing and non-resistant to God proves that a loving God does not exist. Michael Rea puts it this way, “Our concept of God is the concept of a perfectly rational, perfectly wise being who loves us like a perfect parent. A being like that would want to have a relationship with us; and we all know that in order to have a relationship with someone, you have to communicate with him or her … So it stands to reason that God [if He exists] would show up in our lives once in a while.” In other words, if God exists as Christians understand Him, He would ensure everyone has adequate evidence for belief in Him.…

God Defies Logic There is a timeless argument that if God is all-powerful (P), all-knowing (K), and morally perfect (M), a truly PKM God, and evil exists, then a PKM God defies logic. From a logical perspective, this argument makes sense. The dilemma arises, however, that if God defies logic, then the inverse is that logic defies God. That is, a PKM God does not follow the laws of logic as mere humans may conceptualize. In a black and white, right or wrong world, the argument that if A=B and B= 0, then A=0 makes sense because we know the meaning and interpretation of 0.…

God Gives Meaning To Life When I hear the word “religion”, God comes to my mind very quick. Many people find religion very controversial sometimes because they don’t believe in God or don’t want to hear about him. For many people and philosophers God gives no meaning to life and for others God does give meaning. Personally God gives a lot of meaning to my life and helps me with my daily life. For some people God is very important and others know about God but have no interest whatsoever.…
