A man got shot by his girlfriend today in Boston! Everyone has heard storylines similar
to this one but people are hearing more and more about them it seems like everyday. Some
people think there should make laws about gun control. However, others would disagree about
having gun control because according to the second amendment it gives U.S. citizens the right
to own guns. The three reasons why some are against control are: It is the people of the United
States right, avid shooting and hunting.
The people of the United States of America has the right to own guns according to the

In some areas hunting is the only way a man can
provide food for his family. Hunting also plays key roles in habit conversations. If there was
gun control than the world would be overrun by animals. Therefore, hunting also helps wildlife
management.
On, the other hand people think that there should be gun control, because “ Gun violence
continues to destroy families and communities in the U.S. on a daily basis (Horwitz, 2012).
Everyday on the news you hear some story about some sort of mass shooting. According to
Joshua Horwitz’s article Gun Control and the second Amendment he states that “we are told that
we must allow the massacre of innocent Americans-including children-with easily obtained
firearms because “it is the price we must pay for freedom” ” (Horwitz, 2012). People cannot
understand why we will risk innocent children’s lives just because the second amendment allows
U.S. citizens to own a gun. People will think back on when that amendment was ratified and
think of the year it is now and will say laws can change in any amount of time especially in a 225

Another example would be a boy just broke up with their
precious daughter and she is so sad, lonely, and depressed and she just wants to stop feeling the
way she is so she goes to her dad’s safe and just takes care of how she is feeling with one of the
many gun he owns.
In conclusion, the main point of this essay is that there should not be any type of gun
control. Simply because our past leaders of America gave us the right to own gun or guns and
made it a amendment to put in the Bill of Rights. Guns do not do any harm, they do not kill it is
the person behind the gun that is harming and killing others. Gun control should not even be
considerable, there should just be more background checks and even a longer process to own a
gun. There are some circumstances where these crazy people do not have any kind of gun permit
because the gun they own has been passed down from many generations in their family.
