Tyson Foods Ethical Issues

Companies in the food industry are seemingly meant to provide the best products for consumers, those that are free from toxins and produced in sound facilities. While this is what most people would like to believe, the fact of the matter is that the big names of the food industry produce their goods using the most efficient and cheapest methods possible, even if they may not be the most ethical or appealing. Among the big names in the industry is Tyson Foods, Inc., a global processor of meat products. Tyson, however, like several food companies, has been involved in a number of controversies concerning their business practices ranging from animal abuse to poor working conditions – all of which much of the public are unaware of.
