1. It is with great pleasure that I highly recommend Ms. Tyra Givance as a United States Army Officer. Tyra has been known to me her entire life. She is detailed oriented, forward thinking, and selfless individual. Her motivation to accomplish every task to perfection will assist her in becoming a superb officer of this great nation.
2. Tyra embodies the Army’s Values of LDRSHIP. She's loyal, duty-minded, respectful, always selfless, honorable, encompasses integrity beyond reproach, and has the personal courage to always do the right thing. No one will have to look over her shoulders because she will always get it right the first time.

    Stewardship of the Army Profession and Civilian-Military Relations There are five core characteristics that compose the Army profession; trust, honorable service, military expertise, stewardship, and esprit de corps (Army Doctrine Reference Publication (ADRP) 1, The Army Profession, 2015, p. 6-1).
