When people think of doctors, most tend to think of the ones that help with the physical illness side of things: have a broken bone? See a doctor. Feel a little under the weather? Go see a doctor. However, doctors are not limited to only helping with the physical aspect of things; there are doctors, who are equally important, that help with the mental health side of things. These doctors, known as psychiatrists, help those who have a mental illness.
My goal in life is to help people; I don't want others to go through life afraid, sad, or sick. I want to help those who feel as though things will not get better, I want to help save lives, and you do not need to be a "typical" doctor to do so. This scholarship will help me with that. In order
