Type 4c hair is the most tightly coiled of all hair types. The tightness of the coils means that 4c hair has a tremendous about of shrinkage. It is quite common for most naturals with type 4c hair to experience extreme shrinkage (70% or more), causing it to appear much shorter than it actually is. When 4c hair is in its natural state i.e. freshly washed and without product, a defined curl is not evident. 2. Type 4c hair is typically more difficult to keep moisturized that other hair types and finally;
3. Higher risk of breakage due to the tightness of 4c coils.
The tightness of 4c coils provide all the characteristics that set it apart from other hair type. However, once you figure out what works for your hair, caring for it becomes no more difficult than caring for any other

Don’t forget to seal your moisturiser into the hair by using an oil or butter and ensure you deep condition your hair with every wash and do this at least once a
