Diabetes is a disease in which a person has high blood sugar. People get high blood sugar because their insulin production is bad, or their body doesn’t respond will the insulin. Millions of people around the world have diabetes. People need to be aware of type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes because it can kill them, and it affects their lives negatively. If a person has diabetes, they can’t live a normal life anymore. They have to be more careful with the things they do. There are a couple of symptoms that people may have. They have to watch their sugar level everyday. There is no cure for diabetes, but there are treatments that keep sugar levels normal. If people are aware of diabetes, they can probably prevent it or control it.
