~Tyler~

“Tyler, I want a divorce.”

Those four words were like multiple knives stabbed right through my chest. I couldn’t even cry I was so shocked.

“Why?” I choked out, my voice barely audible. “Because, Tyler, it’s always Josh! ‘We’re going to see a movie!’ Why are there three tickets? ‘Because Josh is coming too!’ For crying out loud, Tyler, you spend more time with him than you do with me!” Jenna yelled.

I began shaking, tears threatening to spill. Not only was I heartbroken, I hate being yelled at. I just don’t understand, she always said she was fine with Josh.

I smiled as I closed my eyes and rested my head on Josh’s chest again. I felt him gently run his fingers through my hair.

I began to fall asleep as I heard Momma Dun come downstairs.

“Boys, are you-oh! Uh…” “Shh... “ Josh shushed her. “Of course,” she whispered, “I’ll let you two be.”

Tyler looks so peaceful. I love playing with his hair, it’s so soft and fluffy. He looks so adorable asleep. I’m just glad he’s happy. I hate Jenna for hurting him. I always thought she was so nice and I was happy that she kept Tyler happy. I’m glad this happened though, because now I’m the one making Tyler happy and protecting him. I’ll never hurt him, he deserves to be safe and
