When writing a paper or essay in the past I have used the outlining technique and have found that at the end I had scribbled all over a paper and had to write everything again on another piece of paper. Since being in this class I have become fond of the visual organizers. Kristen has done a great job with them on her videos and section 5.01 in the eLearning solidified my liking to visual organizers. I use notecards that have my introduction, main points, supporting facts, opposing points, refuting points and conclusion. Once I have all my ideas written down I can lay them out and move them around which allows for my brain to be stimulated and produce the best work possible.…
