If you were to go somewhere else or meert people, and you experience new things would you change your beliefs, your culture, and your life? These two stories are related to the same subject which are culture, backgrund, and beliefs. "Everyday use" written by Alive walker is about 2 sisters and their culture. Maggie the gilr who stays with her culture and stays with her mother , while Dee changes all her old ways and beliefes. The other story "Two ways to belong in America" is written Bharati Mukherjec. The situation is common or related to the first story in some ways. Mira and Bharati go to america where they went to school and they both ended up getting married.
