Two Things That Changed My Life

At the age of eighteen, I obtained two things that changed my life forever; my Texas Real Estate License, and my Eagle Scout Rank. Both shape the hard working person that I am today. Also in high school, I obtained the college board AP Scholar Award, became fluent in American Sign Language as a member of an ASL honor society, and was a Champions School of Business Etiquette Graduate.

In college; I continued scouting as part of a venturing crew, Mastered my study skills and obtained a 4.0 GPA with 33 credit hours, and joined many clubs in which I volunteered countless hours.

This summer; I have started taking classes to become fluent in Chinese, interned with a real estate broker, and volunteered my time by staffing as a scuba instructor

These positions led to serving on nominating committees, planning community events, attending leadership conventions and conferences, and participating in a state-qualifying parliamentary procedure team. I have enjoyed my time at Frostburg State University and with hard work I have been able to make the dean’s list and be accepted in the Honors program during the first semester of my freshman year. I hope to continue to work even harder during the second semester and throughout my school career. As a small university, Frostburg has enabled me to benefit from many things, such as the small size classes. Now that I have gotten used to college and life on campus, I believe it is time to continue to push myself to work harder and to attend an institution where I could be academically challenged and can be surrounded by many people who share my profession.…
