The character of Annabelle from Two Steps Forward
The main character is Annabelle from Two Steps Forward written by Rachel Cohn Annabelle is visiting her dad and the steps in L.A for the summer, her family would consist of Lucy, Jack, Penny, Angus, Tia, Harvey, Angelina, and Ben which is not related to her which means that they can finally get together! When Annabelle decides that she hates L.A she finds out that Ben is coming to L.A , so now she is absorbed in her own world and not paying any attention to her family and how she makes them feel with her moody, self-absorbed, and determined, character traits.
Annabelle is a very self-absorbed girl, like when she got into a fight with Lucy she claims that since Jack and Penny moved from Australia to L.A that they “ruined everything “ for her and I …show more content…
When she found out that Ben was coming she had told Jack that “It had took days to pick out the right shirt and skirt and the right jewelry just to get the right effect for Ben” when Jack wouldn't let her wear the outfit that she had picked out for that night.And when she picked out a bizarre outfit and said to Lucy “this way I can still get back at Jack and still look good for Ben.”I think that it was not a wise choice to go that direction because she was more worried about impressing ben than respecting her dad and doing the right thing.
Annabelle is a very moody girl, you never know what mood she will be in. For example when lucy was asking her mom what time her dad will be home, her mom said that he wouldn't be home in time to greet Annabelle and her mom and Lucy's response was “If dad isn't her to greet Annabelle and her mom who knows what direction that will shift her mood.”I agree with Lucy because you never really knew what mood she would be in.Lucy also has said to her mother “Great that means Annabelle the moody when she comes over”, which also proves that Annabelle is very
