Two Specific Actions To Reach SMART Goals

Goal 1: I will huddle with my direct-report staff, 5 days a week, for 15 minutes, at the beginning of each shift, to increase department communication, identify barriers, and discuss solutions.
Goal 2: I will run for 20minutes, before work, 5 days a week, to improve my overall life balance through increased exercise habits.

Action 1: I will begin by notifying my local union liaison of my practice change as a curtsey and to act in the spirit of partnership. I will than introduce the huddle to the staff at the May monthly department meeting. Giving them an opportunity to help shape what our huddles will look like. We will than introduce our new communication huddles the first of June.
