There are lots of other places that I would rather be than school. Places that have great weather, great people, and fun activities. I have been to lots of different places that can be described by these words and would love to go back. Some of these possible places include being at the beach in Florida or California, hiking the Grand Canyon in Arizona, and visiting Chicago and attending a Cubs game. I really enjoyed the warm weather when I was on vacation down south but being able to attend a Cubs spring training game in Mesa, Arizona made it even better. Previously, I had been to two Cubs games at Wrigley Field which were great but I think that spring training games are a little different. One of the games I went to at Wrigley Field was delayed for about three hours because of rain. Being at a spring training game is a lot better …show more content…
When my dad sees something cool during the game he always points it out to us and makes the experience very enjoyable. We buy some food a few innings into the game. I smell the great foods we buy such as hotdogs and peanuts. All of the food including burgers, hot dogs, cotton candy, cracker jacks, and other classic ballpark foods are very tempting. I chose to go to this place because last year my family took a trip to Arizona and went to a Cubs spring training game. I found it very entertaining and would love to go again. There was a great atmosphere at the ballpark and it made for a great experience. This year, in a matter of just two weeks I will be on a plane flying down to Florida with my cousins. Even though my family has not really planned out what we are doing down there I think that it would be pretty cool going to another game and seeing the best players in the MLB in person and possibly getting

I felt I was in heaven like running the bases at Wrigley Field was a dream come true best experience of my life I will never forget that day. The Chicago Cubs crew said, “we cannot run on the grass rounded third base because if you have the wrong shoe you could kill their grass.” I ran the bases as fast as I could and I felt that was the fastest I ever ran the bases. After I was done running the bases I looked from home plate out to centerfield and looked at Wrigley Field to look at the perspective of a hitter and what they seen while they are up there it was the best MLB stadium that I will ever go…

Essay on “Why Place Matters” In Wilfred M. McClay and Ted V. McAllister’s “Why Place Matters,” they discuss about “place” as an abstract concept that can also be very precise and meaningful. I agree with McClay and McAllister that the lack of physical place can risk losing our ability to associate with others, one’s identity, and public virtues.…
