Not only must a person be able to use critically thinking when engaging in decision-making, but they also must have an intention to do something about the unethical behavior. Rest’s step 4 needs to be elaborated on or should be combined with the Scripture model by addressing the person privately and giving them an option to do the right thing. If the person does not correct their unethical behavior after privately being addressed a person should take it to the next step of addressing supervisors and getting them involved in addressing the person.
