Loss is something that almost everyone has and will experience, but is never experienced in exactly the same way by any two people. It is something that can tear one apart at a physical level, emotional level, and, in the worst cases, both. Each of these two forms of loss are, in their own ways, horrible. They both have the chance to alter one’s life permanently very suddenly, and are often both unexpected in their appearance. Though I have been lucky to not have experienced the former, the latter is all too familiar to me. He was amazing, intelligent, humorous, devoted, caring, humanitarian, and much more. The amount of time that he spent volunteering should have negatively impacted him in a monetary way, yet he was able to successfully
