The topic of Part 1 of the book titled “Twitter and Tear Gas the Power and Fragility of Networked Protest by Zeynep Tukefci begins with the idea of mass media communication specifically focused on the idea of technology. Another important topic that the author includes in part 1 is the idea of censorship and attention.
