The author Froma Harrop has written an essay entitled “Twisted Social Media and Mass Murder” postulating some reasons to be worried about social media. She makes very good observations on the subject, however there are not many solutions contained. However, to generalize the issue as the problem of lonely young men is an oversimplification.
Social media is one of those issues that neither our parents nor our founding fathers would have thought of when we were young. The Nation’s Forefathers knew the importance of Freedom of Speech and at knew the importance of a well maintained militia.
