Twin City is a small town that many people call home. It has a small population of 1,742. Incorporated in 1921, Twin City formed from the unification of the cities of Summit and Graymont. It’s also home to many socially famous individuals. As of the census of 2000, there were 1,752 people, 545 households, and 390 families residing in the city. That’s not a lot of people if you compare it to some other towns or cities. While most of that population is 18-24. The lowest amount there is the ages 65 and up. There are only two schools in twin city. One is Twin City Elementary (pre-k - 5th). The other is Emanuel County Institute (6th - 12th).
