Twilight is a series of five romantic fantasy movies based on four novels by American writer Stephenie Meyer. Each movie of them is directed by a different director. She also wrote a short introductory article, "Brief Tanner's Short Life". Meyer majored in English Literature, raised three boys in Phoenix, Arizona, wrote twilight as a result of her dreams, and began writing books in June of 2003. Bella Swan(Kristen Stewart), a high school student, does not expect life to change as she moves from a sunny Arizona to a rainy region in Washington to improper attitudes. Then she meets Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). His eyes seem to fit directly into her soul. He eventually confirmed this fact, but he and other Cullens say they only consume animal blood. The pair falls in love, and Edward introduces Bella to his vampire family. Family patriarch Carlisle Cullen(Peter Facinelli) is a doctor working at Forks. His wife is Esme (Elizabeth Reaser) and Alice(Ashley Grenee), Jasper(Jackson Rathbone), Emmett(Kellan Lutz) and Rosalie(Nikkie Reed) are unofficially adopted children. The relationship between Edward and Bella is in danger when three nomadic vampires James(Cam Gigandet), Victoria(Rachelle Lefevre), and Laurent(Edi Gathegi) arrive at Fork. James, a tracer vampire with an incredible hunting instinct, is interested in Edward's protection of humans and has hunted Bella for sports. Edward and the other Cullens spend their lives to protect Bella, but James tracks her as Phoenix hiding behind Jasper and Alice. James was trapped by falsely claiming that Bella was holding onto her mother's hostage. James breaks Bella's leg and infects the vampire poison before it bites on his wrist. After a fierce fight, Edward conquers James as another Cullen arrives. Alice, Emert, and Jasper, who let Edward suck the poison from Bella's wrist and prevent her from becoming a vampire, hurled James and burned him. The fourth book, Breaking Dawn, is divided into two movies. The first part was announced in November 2011. The fan base for twilight books as well as movies is similar to Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Twilight was developed in Paramount Pictures' MTV Films for about three years, during which time a very different screen modification was made. For example, this script has transformed Bella into a star athlete. Stephenie Meyer said there was a controversy about allowing films to be produced because of negative or positive results. "They could have moved the old film to another place, and one would have known it was twilight!"
