The first is that he is contemplating his own falling out and break down, his own loss of sanity. He could be implying that all the help and comfort he has been given has been faked, and now proves to be false hope. In this meaning, the last line would be him saying that all he wants is the truth. Another meaning is that he is continuing to hide how truly broken he is, how completely final and extreme his latest breakdown has been. No matter what others may say to him, no matter how many times they may ask, he will continue to assure them that he is fine. In other words, he will continue to “fake you out.” Whichever meaning is true, I relate to both. Often in a breakdown I feel as though all the hopeful or positive things my friends have said to me in the past are just falsehoods meant to get me through times of hardship. At the same time, I will continue to keep my happy face, my cheery exterior of Everything-Is-Awesome-and-I-Am-Okay, thereby faking out those who bother to care.
