Twenty One Pilots’ album Blurryface captures the emotions and feelings almost everyone experiences, but is too afraid to express. Long before their debut into the music scene, the band duo from Columbus, Ohio, Twenty One Pilots started making their rounds playing small bars and clubs trying to create a fan base that would support what they do. America's albums--six certified gold and/or platinum, with their first greatest hits collection, History, hitting four plus million in sales--displayed a fuller range of the trio's talents than did their singles. Their material encompassed an ambitious artistic swath; from effects-laden rockers to oddball medleys to soul-bearing ballads, America displayed a flawless blend of disparate genres and styles as wide-open as the great American plains. Enjoying massive success early in their career, America earned their stripes as musical soldiers on the battlefield amidst the excess, craziness and chaos of the 70's. The trio won the Grammy for Best New Artist in 1972 and began working with George Martin and Geoff Emerick in 1974. This successful team went on to record seven albums and several Top Ten hits, including "Tin Man," "Sister Golden Hair" and "Lonely People."…

The fact that their chart-topping-album, American Idiot, had a cacophonous mixture of power chords with a pinch of the Buzzcockian spark, along with a sprinkle of The Descendants’ penetrating rhythm sealed Green Day with a global stamp of approval. Between Billie Joe Armstrong’s adenoidal scowl, and Mike Dirnt’s muscular guitar, Green Day seemed like a Saturday-morning-cartoon version of Freaks and Geeks – four cheeky monkeys fiercely grasping their heart-shaped grenades to blast the Bush administration, pleading potential protesters to dash to Camp David. Like a stack of Pringles, their hammering hits fit faultlessly as one to blitz their target. When a trail-blazer like American Idiot sells a gazillion copies, we can be assured the band…

There are still some artists in present day who make decent content, however they are not as well known or simply forgotten due to the trend of the generation.
