So when I saw a band called Twenty One Pilots get on stage and not Panic! at the Disco, I was worried. After being assured that Panic! at the Disco was still going to play, I started listening to this band I had never heard of before. I was immediately put off by them because they had rap sections and I let that cloud my judgment. I do remember being really impressed by the band itself though. The two members of Twenty One Pilots had so much energy. The drummer was immensely talented, and I was awe struck when the lead singer was being held up by the members of the crowd as he kept on singing. Before it ended, they started throwing picks into the crowd, but I did not get so lucky as I did last time. While the lead singer and bassist left the stage, the drummer was still getting up and he threw one of his drum sticks into the GA crowd, and the other right in the area where my mom and I were sitting! It was a crazy rush of girls pushing and running to get the stick. With my mom having sat closer to the stage than me, she had a pretty good opportunity and rushed into the mess as well. After a small battle of grabbing hands, my mom came out victorious with the drum stick. She held it out for me to hold on to, and I was shaking with excitement. It was one of the luckiest days ever. Who would have known that my first concert would be the one where I was fortunate enough to get so many awesome goodies. On the way to our hotel room after the show, I held it clutched close to my chest on the subway so no one would even think to go near
