Twenty One Band Research Paper

I have had some of the most incredible moments of my life at concerts. Seeing bands you love live and in person can make you love the band even more. Jumping around and singing to the lyrics is infectious and you feel as though the people around you are your family. They all love the band like you do, know all the lyrics like you do, and cheer loudly like you do. When the band’s lyrics are very inspirational or have helped you through a hard time, going to their live show is especially breathtaking. I have been to many concerts, but one of my favorite experiences was from the first one I ever went to.

So when I saw a band called Twenty One Pilots get on stage and not Panic! at the Disco, I was worried. After being assured that Panic! at the Disco was still going to play, I started listening to this band I had never heard of before. I was immediately put off by them because they had rap sections and I let that cloud my judgment. I do remember being really impressed by the band itself though. The two members of Twenty One Pilots had so much energy. The drummer was immensely talented, and I was awe struck when the lead singer was being held up by the members of the crowd as he kept on singing. However, I was very judgmental of their actual songs and cast them away, not knowing that in three years they would be my favorite …show more content…
Before it ended, they started throwing picks into the crowd, but I did not get so lucky as I did last time. While the lead singer and bassist left the stage, the drummer was still getting up and he threw one of his drum sticks into the GA crowd, and the other right in the area where my mom and I were sitting! It was a crazy rush of girls pushing and running to get the stick. With my mom having sat closer to the stage than me, she had a pretty good opportunity and rushed into the mess as well. After a small battle of grabbing hands, my mom came out victorious with the drum stick. She held it out for me to hold on to, and I was shaking with excitement. It was one of the luckiest days ever. Who would have known that my first concert would be the one where I was fortunate enough to get so many awesome goodies. On the way to our hotel room after the show, I held it clutched close to my chest on the subway so no one would even think to go near

The troubadour was a minstrel of the court, but rather than wandering from town to town as most minstrels do, they would be employed to stay and entertain the court and its guests. Troubadours were held at a higher social than minstrels and jongleurs, who often were considered to live on the fringe of society. Troubadours were welcomed in the many courts of England, Spain, Italy, France, and Germany. Troubadours made amazing contributions to intellectual life with their new arts, blending courtly love, eroticism, war, nature, political satire, and philosophy.
