A relatively new hit T.V. show, Riverdale, is blowing up the charts. The show involves teen drama between the characters and their family history. Many love the show because "all of the characters are really hot," Elizabeth stated. Several individuals also say that "the show is very intriguing and the plot twist is - just wow." A commonly debated topic is whether the Archie comics (what the show was based on) is better than the actual show. Hailey Baumgardner states, "BEST show ever. Everyone needs to start watching!" So everyone start watching RIverdale! Garanteed to love it:)

Compare and Contrast Sitcom- Essay Throughout the decades we as viewers witnessed various family TV sitcoms evolve as generation’s change, with many managing to maintain several of the same family core values. I strongly feel that The Brady Bunch, which debuted in the 1960’s and Full House debuting in the 1990’s best illustrate a significant gap between two generations of families that share similarities amongst family values despite their difference in family structure and roles. Both sitcoms are based in a family home setting depicting common life obstacles, struggles as well as plenty of humor that the whole family can enjoy.…

Jack R. Poppele once said,“Television’s future is as expansive as the human mind can comprehend.” This is true considering the enormous advances that have been made in the television industry, since Philo Farnsworth first demonstrated it to the public in 1927. In 1945 it was estimated that there were less than 10,000 television sets in American households, which later rose to 52 million sets in 1960. Nowadays 96.7 percent of Americans have a television in their household, and the average American watches 5 hours of TV a day. Undeclared has been praised for its authentic portrayal of teenagers. For example, Caryn James from The New York Times acknowledges this in her review of the show, “…Undeclared does not distort them into the perfect innocents their parents would like them to be…” and “…Its humor comes from the instantly believable characters who try to behave like grown-ups but have a complete lack of social assurance”(James). The show’s ability to capture feelings of confusion during adolescence has also been praised, “exploring (Apatow’s) belief that young people are as complicated as they are confused and silly”(Tucker). By creating a cast of realistic and relatable characters, the show is able to capture the college lifestyle. The show has also been praised for addressing serious subject matter such as sex, “One of the best things about the show is its matter-of-factness about sex: some students have a lot of it, and the others are desperate to have it at all”(James).…
