Turning peanut butter into diamonds may be an innovative process in which a variety of people will be able to use the product of the experiment for a diverse array of things, such as fashion accessories or as little electronics components. A natural diamond takes a long time to form itself and it is highly expensive when it is done, so making these other types of diamonds may help to obtain what society wants with a costly, but faster process.
But this idea has its own cost. Diamonds are found in the Earth’s crust, where the temperature and pressure are concentrated in very high levels.
