“CJ, what are you doing?” Desean said. “I wanna be like Tupac.” said Cj. Tupac Shakur was an African American rapper. Most would consider he the best rapper of all time. His songs include: Keep Ya Head Up, Dear Mama, California Love, and many more. Tupac died in a drive by shooting in Las Vegas on September 13, 1996 at the age of 25. CJ was climbing on top of cars in a junkyard. He wanted to be on top of the world like Tupac. Desean told him “Man, you stupid. I’m gonna go get your momma.” CJ ran after Desean back to CJ’s house. Desean beat CJ to the house and told his mother, Denise, what CJ was doing at the junkyard. Denise said “CJ what were you thinking?” “Mama I wanted to be on top of the world like Tupac!” CJ explained to her. Denise …show more content…
For the time being Desean was staying with CJ and his mom. Both CJ and Desean’s dads had left them when they were young. CJ and Desean”s moms were always close friends and always told the children that their dads died and still never told them the truth. CJ and Desean were outside playing ball when they noticed something particularly strange. Their neighbor was sitting out on her porch. Neither one of them knew this lady’s name or anything about her. CJ threw the ball over Desean’s head and the lady threw it back and said “Hi boys, how are you doing?” They both told her they were doing good and she introduced herself “My name is Mrs. Shakur. I know you have probably never seen me before but don’t assume I’m a mean old lady.” “I also have a son, he’s actually coming to vis-” She was cut off to the sound of a car. Everyone looked over and saw Tupac’s BMW. Mrs. Shakur said “There’s my baby boy!” Tupac exited the car and said “Mama I’m home” As he gave her a big hug.
CJ and Desean thought they were dreaming. CJ said “You’re Tupac!” Tupac replied “Yes I am, Do you boys know my mama?” Desean quickly said “Yes, we just met her and she’s a really nice lady.” Tupac kneeled down and said “My mama always told me, if you can’t find something to live for you best be finding something to die
