Society today faces the challenge of being able to receive higher education due to economic and financial difficulties. Students, and even parents, experience hardship when it comes to the attempt of earning a degree in any field of study. In addition to the current cost of tuition, most middle class and lower class citizens are not able to afford the "luxury" of attending college or universities in the United States. Likewise, this poses a leviathan problem for the country and especially to the communities. Tuition needs to make a drastic change in prices, which in doing so will open more opportunities to accomplish the American Dream, improve society, provide a chance for people in financial struggles, and help place our country back to one of the top ranked in the world. Currently, the U. S. does not have many affordable colleges and universities for the population to have the privilege to attend; strive for their dream careers, and have the life people have every right to reach. Mentioned in the article “College Affordability and Completion: Ensuring a Pathway to Opportunity” from the U. S. Department of Education, “too many recent college graduates feel the weight of their student loan payments holding them back from fulfilling their full potential.” Jobs will widely expand for graduates. Except, instead of working on their dreams the graduates will end up working so hard just to pay back their education. This will motivate young adults to exceed further and have an exceptional chance in becoming strong successful citizens in the future. Furthermore, with open opportunities, confidence and strength will push people to accomplish their personal goals and lifelong dreams in their way of life. Society in most of the U. S. deteriorate from having uneducated people due to high tuition cost; which causes more violence, poverty, as well as dangerous style of living. However, reforming tuition costs or eliminating it, will greatly influence these cities and towns that are currently witnessing these issues to seek improvement. Considering that teenagers, whom are the most influenced, will progressively strive to exceed just to retain the possibility of emigrating the rough neighborhoods and/or seek to create better habits for oncoming generations.
