The world is a small place, but violence slips between the peaceful part of the world. Violence includes murdering, beating, and bullying others. In “Tuesday of the other June,” by Norma Fox Mazer, June is being bullied by another girl named June. June lives with her mother, in an apartment home. She gets ready to go to swimming camp. She meets the other June and already gets her name changed to “Fish Eyes”. June learns that violence is a bad thing and bullying should not be part of our world.
At the start of “Tuesday of the other June,” June always does as her mother wants so she won’t start a fight between them. She listens to her mother, so she could keep her happy, because “It’s just you and me, two women alone in the world.” June and
