Children can increase their retention and concentration trying to solve them. Sometimes the program can be little slow and unstable causing children to grow inpatient and sometimes can make them loose their progress and make them star all over. This can cause children to lose interest.
The program is teacher Friendly. With the program teachers are able to disable sound effects and disable quit and print functions. Teachers can select full-screen display and select "No Button Distinction" so either right or left mouse button can be used for clicking. Tux allows students to only print once in a set time period. For teachers a cursor can be "grabbed" so users cannot work outside of the Tux Paint screen.
Some cons can be that the program at times is slow to load. It is difficult to load or save when using full screen option with multiple monitors. There is no privacy because every student can access each other's work.
Even with the few cons I believe it is still a very good program to start off with. Everything has a few tweaks that need fixing but in this case the pros outweigh the
