Trust is a small word that holds a lot of meaning and significance. It’s confidence placed in a person by making that person the nominal owner of property to be held or used for the benefit of one or more others. Many people usually spend quite a long time trying to trust someone or trying to make someone trust them. Though earning and giving trust can be a difficult thing to do, trust between people is an important keystone to trustworthiness that everyone needs. Trust is extremely significant in life seeing as it is healthy for the mind, which in turn builds better relationships; in the grand scheme of things, trust helps societies function in a peaceful way. Giving trust to people too quickly will actually do more harm than good. This virtue should be more of a bond between people, not a freebie or giveaway. Of course, trust is important, but it’s also important that it is made sure that this trust is first earned, or else it is virtually pointless.
Overall, trust is an invaluable virtue acquired in life that is beyond measure. Though it is sometimes hard to obtain, trust is a tie that is crucial to have among people; it can help with mental health by reducing stress, builds relationships by giving reassurance, and helps people function as a whole together in society by decreasing tension. All of these subjects put together can easily make life less complicated, which truly adds to the value of
