To my friends that are Trump supporters, I am hopfully correct by saying you are not all the same, however I just want to give you an idea of why people, myself being one, were and still are so terrified about the Trump Presidency.

Every morning I see the same gentleman at the same gas station and every morning we exchange our same "Good Morning, how are you?" and a simple smile. I saw him this morning getting his coffee with all his Trump gear on, I said my normal "Good morning!" and even though I don't support Trump I wanted to congratulate my morning routine acquaintance on the victory. Now any other time his response would be to say "Good morning" as well and ask how I was, maybe even a little extra small talk....Not today, today was different. You see today he felt empowered, today it was now okay to treat people different. …show more content…
