The Electoral college results of the 2016 presidential campaign were 306 against 232 with Donald Trump in the lead, thus winning the position of President-elect. The well-known candidates of this election were Republican Donald Trump, and Democrat Hillary Clinton, whereas the lesser-known candidates were Liberal Gary Johnson, and Green Party Jill Stein. Several controversies that circulated during the campaign were the issues regarding Clinton’s private email servers, and the leaked recording revealing Trump’s comments about women in lewd and degrading terms. Whilst serving as the secretary of state, Clinton had used a private email server, though she never sought out for approval to handle state business on the private server. Some issues he needs to solve in the country to bring unity are the health care plans, rights to have an abortion, and how to properly spend the country’s money and budget. By repealing Obamacare, Trump is removing the stability that people had relied on for the past couple years. Trump does not have the right to decide for women, whether they can receive an abortion or not, because he won’t be the one carrying a human being in his stomach for 9 months. As for properly spending the country’s money, Trump wants to build a pricey wall to secure the borders, because the fence is not enough.
