Truman's Story

Truman is an abandoned pup that was found outside of a church in Iowa. His previous owners left him there. They gave him a small bag of food and rawhide meat. They never came back. People passing by felt sorry for the dog and were determined to help. They believed that Truman deserved to adopted by a loving family. They took him to Agape Fosters, which is a rescue group.

Dianna Helmers is the founder of Agape Fosters. She was one of the people who rescued Truman. She and her husband took Truman home and cleaned him up. The dog was very shy, and he had sores all over his body. Dianna and her husband were able to clean up Truman nicely. After Truman's story became popular, there were many people interested in adopting him.
