Truman was always popular, dated and later married the popular cheerleader in his college and was hired into a very well known company. Never once did he have to worry about his future. In the eyes of the viewers it seemed a perfect world where anyone would love to live, but to Truman it was a dystopia. The information and media spread in the world was to make sure to convince Truman to stay. When Truman was little he dreamed to be an explorer in order to crush his dream of leaving his community the teacher responded stating that everything was already discovered by previous explorers. The media received in the TV was in order manipulate his mind into never wanting to leave. The propaganda used in the TV were cautions to every dangerous thing outside of their community and always made Truman happy to live where he does. The Natural world does not exist in the world created for Truman, the ocean and weather to even the moon and sun are controlled. Small video cameras watch every move of Truman. Even as a little kid Truman never had a choice, he was an unwanted birth and was adopted into a company since then he was recorded and always watched. It was not till he started questioning and opening his eye to the world around him was when he noticed that he was trap. Truman struggled to escape into the real world, even almost facing death. The determination to go against the director showed that Truman wanted to escape and be enlightened to the real
