The Code of Ethics is the reflection of one’s inner being, the heart, mind, and soul which belongs to God. God expects the glory in all things, because everything created is a part of who He is and his ordination. The Code of Ethics displays a commitment and respect due to God. Trull and Carter write, “Doing ethic is, in part, a skill that can be learned and one that must be practiced by a capable minister.” Therefore, it should have purpose, value, and accountability in the likes of the greatest commandment Jesus Christ taught his disciple, (Matt. 22:36-40, NASB).
